Who is your culinary inspiration?My dad, the son of Italian immigrants and a hardworking NJ Transit locomotive engineer, inspired my love for food. No matter how much he sacrificed for our family, he always made time for Sunday meals inspired by my Nonna and WWII veteran Papa. Now, as a newlywed to an active duty spouse, I want to carry on that tradition by bringing people together through comforting meals filled with love, family, and home.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I were chosen as Favorite Chef, I would use the $25,000 to return to college and finish my culinary degree. My goal is to build on my hands-on experience and education so I can one day teach the next generation of chefs at a VoTech school. I want to pass down not just skills, but the values I learned growing up—hard work, tradition, and cooking with purpose—so students can build meaningful careers in the kitchen.
