Fresh garlic, tomatoes, onions, peppers, turkey‑lamb meatballs, hot Italian sausage, and pan‑fried catfish create bold comfort. It blends my Milwaukee roots, East Coast family, Georgia life, and travels into one soulful, love‑filled plate.
Who is your culinary inspiration?My biggest culinary inspiration is my family. I grew up in Milwaukee with a mom who cooked everything from scratch — no processed food, just real ingredients and real love. Traveling to different cities and countries expanded my palate, but home taught me the foundation: cook with intention, honor your roots, and love people through food.
What would you do with the $25,000?I’d invest the $25,000 into the platform I’m building to protect small, independent restaurants. I’ve lived the chaos of running a kitchen, and I want to give mom‑and‑pop owners a way to breathe again — to spend less time drowning in paperwork and more time doing what they love: cooking, creating, and serving their communities.
