My inspiration for cooking comes from engaging with new faces as well as those that I love through food and ingredients. Acquiring, then preparing exotic, local and high priced ingredients for people who may not take the time to do so for themselves is extremely important to my mission. Part of what I do is about educating others on traditional food preparations but another part is sharing knowledge on ingredient cultivation, farming practices as well as local and international environments.

My favorite dish to make is any dish that I have never made before. Being able to immerse myself into a different culture while learning about the history of food is crucial to my purpose, growth and development as a cook. I do have plenty of foods that I love to eat, in fact, there are very few that I will not eat, so I focus on unique, historically rich or newly contrived dishes to keep moving forward in my understanding of food.

With the $25,000, I will purchase a used food truck or food cart and gain the proper certifications/licensing, which will allow me to take on more public and private events. Achieving this would greatly help me share my love for food and the world's best ingredients with as many people as possible.
