Who or what inspires you to cook?

My Mom taught me a lot of baking skills, since she was an incredible baker. As I have grown in food, it has become a love of new ideas, flavor profiles and the discovery of new cultures.

What's your all time favorite dish to make?

That is a difficult one since I have so many favorites. One would be a pork tenderloin with orange marmalade sauce, then there would be my version of chicken marsala, blackened chicken with red beans and rice. I also cant rule out Blintz’s as my favorite desert. However, I would say the most creative dish was when I did a beef wellington in a sous vide.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use a part of it to do something special like go to Scotland and learn more about their food, in particular, short bread. I would also use a portion to donate to cancer research since I have had family members affected, including my wife.
