Receive Text UpdatesMy family has always been my driving force. When I began cooking as a child it gave me time with my parents when they weren’t working on the road. And a way to show my love to my family. Using our farmed goods, or when I needed to macgyver a meal for my siblings with bare cabinets; cooking became a fun puzzle of what I could create. And now I get to share it with my children and that makes it even more beautiful to me.
What's your all time favorite dish to make?I would have to say my cheesecakes. If you’re asking about savory dishes; I really like things with fresh produce, lots of herbs and I like to surprise people with things they have never had or think they won’t like. My Rosemary and Garlic Seared Lamb Chops.
What would you do with the $25,000?This is a tough one. My kids have been my focus the past 7 years and having my son at 23 weeks and 6 days really put things in perspective. He spent the first year of his life in the NICU and is fighting the good fight at 5 to be verbal. His sister 7 has been such a great Big sister and amazing daughter along the way. Now is the time I stand up and show them what you can achieve if you believe it. I’m going to put the money into something they can have when I am gone. A place to call home
