My grandmother Reather is my number one inspiration in the kitchen. She is the best cook in our family hands down and I strive be just as good. Competition also inspires me, I love to compete. I aspire to be one of the best competition cooks in generation.
What's your all time favorite dish to make?My all-time favorite dish to make is Gumbo. It is a labor of love dish and the first thing my Granny taught me how to make. Gumbo is a dish we have at all of our family gatherings so anytime I make it feels like a celebration.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the money to pay off a huge chunk of my tuition and the rest would go towards opening my first food establishment.
