Who or what inspires you to cook?

My grandma, who I call Nanny inspires me to cook. Growing up, I watched her make everything from scratch for me and my cousin Kianna almost every day when she would watch us. My favorite dish to make is anything that challenges me to learn a new technique and elevate a dish to the next level. I love pushing myself in the kitchen and discovering new ways to improve my craft. But if I had to choose just one, it would have to be pasta. There are so many different styles and flavors to explore, and I love how versatile it can be. What would you do with the $25,000?

Not only do I cook but I bake. I would use the $25,000 to help buy a café for my business, Taj’s Sweet Treats. Having my own space would allow me to share my passion for baking with the community, create a warm and welcoming spot for customers, and bring my dream to life. This opportunity would be a huge step toward growing my business and making my sweet creations more accessible to everyone.
