Who or what inspires you to cook?

Watching Emeril on television sparked creativity and encouraged me to try new things. This inspiration grew as various food chefs and cooking shows gained popularity. My whole family loves to cook, and this is now a celebrated tradition.

What's your all time favorite dish to make?

We have a deep appreciation for seafood, and any dish that features the bounty of the ocean. In addition, growing up in Minnesota, we did (and still do) a lot of fishing, hunting, and gardening. This foundation really helped as I explored new foods and techniques-especially sourced from the land and sea.

What would you do with the $25,000?

We will donate the proceeds to Soldiers' Angels. The largest critical food distributor to Active-Duty Service Members, Veterans, and their Families.
