Receive Text UpdatesI found my love for cooking by accident. Fresh out of high school and in a punk band, I joined a restaurant to be close with my bandmates. I started as the dishwasher and was captivated by the chaos but everything was so composed and beautiful at the same time. Tragedy struck and I lost my brother and best friend Gunther. I was left in limbo on what to do in life because I knew music would never be the same. I then focused my creativity into my food and found a natural love for it.
What's your all time favorite dish to make?I could never choose my favorite dish to cook, that's like asking me my favorite song. It's a mood, it's a feeling, it's in the air. It depends who I'm with, the temperature outside, or even what month it is.
What would you do with the $25,000?Money has never ruled anything around me but if Im being honest, I would take a chunk of it and take my closest friends and loved ones on some kind of food journey. Maybe a vacation based around food spots and different styles of cuisines. Being blessed like that I wouldn't want to do anything but share it with my team. A dream for my own restaurant is down the line, but for now, just research and development.
