Family dinners were a must when I was growing up. They were our chance to connect and catch up. My mom would whip up a delicious meal, my grandma would make some homemade treats, and my aunt would bake the most amazing cakes. Now, I’ve taken a little bit from each of them, but try to cook them in an instant. And guess what? I’ve got a secret trick up my sleeve! My Instant Pot!! In most cases, I've mastered converting the recipes to do just that!
What's your all time favorite dish to make?My absolute favorite and most time-saving recipes are the conversion of collard greens and oxtails. Traditionally, these dishes take hours, but I can now achieve the same delicious taste in just a quarter of the time!
What would you do with the $25,000?I would love to take Cooking In An Instant with Sonya on the road and help people overcome their fear of instant pots. The goal would be to show everyone, how to make mouthwatering meals…In An Instant!
