Who or what inspires you to cook?

My children and the way my mother use to let me know how good my meals were. When I prepare meals for homeless and those unfortunate, the look after their first taste tells it all. Being able to give back allows me to not only teach my children the importance of giving, but to inspire other others to give as well.

What's your all time favorite dish to make?

Sundays. Sundays are considered family day where everyone comes over to Sunday dinner. I start with breakfast, while preparing my dishes for dinner before everyone arrives.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would purchase a food truck and start my chefs kitchen. As of now, we donate a percentage of sales to various homeless shelters around the DMV. I would continue to donate and ensure my food truck helps those unfortunate. Cooking is a passion but you don’t get to where you want in the food industry without the support of customers and individuals who are amazed and in love with the things you do.
