Who or what inspires you to cook?

It’s a toss up. My mother, because she couldn’t cook. Martin Yan, because I grew up watching him cook, and met him too as a child! Now, my daughter because she’s my heart and I am her heart! Oh and the smiles :-) all about the smiles!

What's your all time favorite dish to make?

Southern Taiwanese Steam Buns with grilled tamarind glaze pork belly, pickled cabbage & carrot-cilantro slaw, city’s aioli and crispy pork cracklings. Yep, it’s divine. You can’t have only one.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would put it towards my daughter’s education so she will not have to experience student loan debt. If she gets a full ride then it will be there for her to jump start her career in whatever she decides to become. I love her!
