Who or what inspires you to cook?

Well I get inspired from what I am given by the Church pantry. I have to turn fruits , veggies into something fast and store it in the freezer to keep for other days. I have always loved sit down meals with people. So to do this what you prepare must look and smell good then followed up with a fabulous taste. My Nana was a great baker and I would look forward to cakes that looked like Humpty Dumpty with birds eye custard. I was the kid with our many friends so I would hang out in the kitchen.

What's your all time favorite dish to make?

Healthy cakes in round tins. Anything with chocolate. But the favorite holiday meal is Thanksgiving feast. I once made it for family in England and they loved it. The secret is in the stuffing; raisins, walnuts, celery and pork sausage.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would use it as a down payment for a farm to table restaurant. Having family running it with me. Foster kids up every summer to learn where food comes from. How beautiful it can be to make friends over a hot blueberry pie with a happy face carved on it.
