Receive Text UpdatesMy mother inspired me to cook. I was 5 years old she was cooking breakfast she had to answer the phone. I pulled up a chair and flipped the pancakes and saved breakfast that day. Ever since then I never left the kitchen because that is how she and I express love to our family. Notable chefs that inspired me are Anthony Bordain and Jose Andres.
What's your all time favorite dish to make?Every winter holiday i make a Puertorican Pernil and I swear every year those that don't eat pork make an exception for that dish. It's a labor of love because it takes days to marinate and hours to prepare. And the look of joy and enjoyment on there faces gives me everything I need to keep cooking to nourish their soul and bodies.
What would you do with the $25,000?My dream is to own and run a food truck. The 25k would go into investing on that dream. What ever is left is to take my family of 4 on a well deserved vacation.
