What's your all time favorite dish to make?Mashed Taters with Forager’s Gravy is my go-to. Creamy mashed potatoes topped with a rich, herby gravy—mushrooms when I’m feeling earthy, beef when I’m feeling bold. Seasoned with rosemary, thyme, garlic, onion, and bay leaf. On the side? Whatever’s calling from the fridge: asparagus, artichoke, or cauliflower. It’s not fancy—it’s deeply real. A comfort dish that shows up when you need it most.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I win, this prize would help me build the foundation for a donation-based community restaurant—where good food, dignity, and access all share the table. With Le Cordon Bleu training and a life shaped by resourcefulness, I’ll serve meals made from donated ingredients, each showing the real cost, a fair price, and what it’s worth in fine dining.
