I was born in Toronto, but recently moved to a small town called Hastings in Ontario. I really enjoy bringing big city flavors to the small restaurant I work at. I’ve started to create a following among the regulars and I enjoy coming up with dishes that makes sense for where I am yet elevated to impressed the most eclectic pallet. Making people happy with food is what inspires me to cook!
What's your all time favorite dish to make?That is an almost impossible question to answer. It’s such a mood or situation kind of thing. If I want some comfort food, I think of my mom‘s creamed fish on toast dish she used to make for me. If I’m looking to impress someone, I love doing a sous vide beef tenderloin with pan jus. Pan roast, baby carrots with maple syrup and horseradish mashed potatoes.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the $25,000 towards our home in the country!!!
