As a cook in the army, I was able to compete for jr chef of the year and found some amazing mentors. Since I have been able to improve and expand my baking and smoking abilities. I love to feed people and make connections through food. Always trying to learn new ways to make meals exciting.
What's your all time favorite dish to make?I love baking. Cheesecakes are one thing that I have been known for as well as making BBQ. Smoking meats is an art form. I am often asked to bring something to get togethers and I am asked for recipes and directions when friends and family need a little help in the kitchen.
What would you do with the $25,000?I am looking to start a private chef and small catering kitchen. Possibly looking to do training on meal preparation and baking. The next step in my cooking career journey. It would be awesome to be able to launch with a mention in a magazine that focuses on great food.
