My inspiration to cook comes from my grandfather, Sidney, who passed away when I was seven. He had a deep passion for cooking and even worked at a country club. I didn’t get to watch him cook much, but hearing stories about his love for food inspired me. I’m naming my business Sidney’s as a tribute to honor his legacy and keep his spirit alive through every dish I make.
What's your all time favorite dish to make?My all-time favorite dish to make is creamy chicken pasta. I season the chicken with garlic, paprika, and herbs, then cook it to perfection. The sauce comes together with tomato paste, garlic, heavy cream, cheese, and fresh basil, blending rich flavors that pair perfectly with the pasta. It’s comfort food at its finest!
What would you do with the $25,000?Winning $25,000 would help me launch a food truck for Sidney’s, allowing me to bring my signature plates—like honey chipotle wings and chicken pasta—to more people. This opportunity would take my business to the next level, helping me share my passion for cooking while growing Sidney’s into a recognized brand.
