Who or what inspires you to cook?

The people that have inspired me to cook in my life have been both of my grandmothers, my mom and dad, aunt and uncle with all of their delicious foods they’ve cooked throughout my childhood. The reactions of my friends and family when they eat my food is an absolute inspiration to keep cooking and striving for the best! I really enjoy cooking a range of different cuisines that transport you back to where you first experienced that wonderful meal.

What's your all time favorite dish to make?

I love to make pizza! Pizza is such an amazing canvas to work with different flavor combinations and styles. My two favorite styles of pizza to make are the Neapolitan and Detroit Style Pizzas! It’s truly an artistic craft from the 24 to 48 hour fermentation process, selection of the freshest ingredients, the build and cook of the pizza, and witnessing someone fall in love on the first bite. That’s the stuff right there!

What would you do with the $25,000?

The $25K will be a huge help for me to purchase a wood fired pizza truck! This win will put me closer to sharing my passion for pizza with my family, friends, my veteran and local community, and to support local food charity events!
