Who or what inspires you to cook?

Making sure people have a great and hospitable experience is what inspires me. Seeing people dining and having a good time around food that I have made makes me genuinely happy.

What's your all time favorite dish to make?

My all time favorite thing to make is braised beef. It takes a while, but transforming a cut of meat that is tough and "low quality" into something that is very tender and succulent is extremely satisfying.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would put $25,000 back into Lofi cocktails, the restaurant and lounge where I am currently working. I think we are trying to build something special here, and having that extra cushion would mean the world to me and the owners, who have put a lot of faith in me to help make this dream come true.
