Growing up, I watched her come home after long, exhausting days of work and still manage to whip up delicious meals for our family. She always believed that you don’t need fancy ingredients or tools to create something wonderful. It was her dedication in making meals from the heart that sparked my passion for cooking. What's your all time favorite dish to make?My all-time favorite dish to make has to be a hearty, comforting homemade lasagna. There’s something about the layers of rich marinara, creamy ricotta, savory meat, and gooey cheese that makes it feel like a warm hug on a plate. It’s a dish that reminds me of home and my family. Cooking lasagna is a way for me to connect with my roots and create something delicious for others, just like my mom did for me growing up.
What would you do with the $25,000?I’d invest the $25,000 in opening my bakery, Mimi’s Kingdom Cakes, focusing on catering, wedding cakes and desserts that bring people together. The money would help me purchase equipment, improve my skills, and create a space where people can celebrate special moments. It would bring me closer to my dream of uniting people through food and creating memorable experiences.
