Who or what inspires you to cook?

Food is my passion and the catalyst that drives me through life. Whether turbulent times or celebrations, food allows people to come together and fellowship. My mother is my greatest influence in my life and this endeavor. Seeing the joy it brought to her and those who broke bread in those festivities inspires me to continue her legacy and love for food.

What's your all time favorite dish to make?

I gravitate towards elevated comfort food. Staying within my roots, shrimp and grits is my signature dish.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I intend to embark on my culinary journey and matriculate through professional training and start my own business.
