Who or what inspires you to cook?

I am inspired by my family and friends. A homemade meal can bring everyone together, creating lasting memories. Cooking for loved ones, especially children, is an act of love and care. It’s about nourishing not just their bodies but also their hearts. I’m also inspired by tradition, passed-down recipes, and the joy of seeing someone’s face light up when they taste something delicious. Cooking is my way of giving back and creating a moment of warmth and connection.

What's your all time favorite dish to make?

Soul food because it’s such a variety and I’m always finding new ways to prepare it.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I won $25,000, I would start a food truck business, spreading good food, comfort, and good vibes at positive festivals while also giving back to the homeless. I’d create a welcoming space where people could enjoy delicious, soulful meals made with love. My food truck wouldn’t just be about serving food—it would be about bringing people together, creating memories, and uplifting those in need. Whether it’s a festival filled with music and joy or a moment of kindness.
