My mom had her hands full raising four boys, but always had a fresh meal on the table, for which I’ve always been grateful. In high school, the first “real” dish I made was “island style flounder”, and I was hooked. In college, I would spend hours on the phone with my girlfriend (now wife) watching the original Iron Chef series. Alton Brown and Bobby Flay have been chefs I emulate. Bobby’s bold flavors and Alton’s science-mind inspire me!
What's your all time favorite dish to make?Red wine and pomegranate braised short ribs with pomegranate glaze and smoked Gouda grits.
What would you do with the $25,000?In addition to putting funds away for our daughter, I would keep cooking! That would mean spending the most important commodity on my loved ones… TIME!
