Receive Text UpdatesTravel has probably been the biggest catalyst for my food curiosity. I'm constantly on the lookout for something exciting in food, so when I travel, I get to maximize on that. I'm thrilled as much by discovering new ingredients, as I am experiencing how those ingredients are then put together and prepared. It's endless, besides travelling far, there is so much to discover practically, in our own backyards. I come from a family of travelers, so much credit is due to them for getting me started.
What's your all time favorite dish to make?I'm no pastry chef, but I love making birthday cakes for my daughters. They get to choose what kind of cake with a single word, then I follow up (as best I can). Some cakes themes have been as simple as a "carrot" or an "owl", some more challenging like, "rainbow" or "space".
What would you do with the $25,000?Take the family on a trip somewhere new, and eat there.
