Who or what inspires you to cook?

My chef customers for over 35 years. They always had a recipe in mind, and my job was to give them options. I would listen, then apply and add to my cooking skills. No recipes from chefs, but learned flavor combinations. As seen in prior email.. my Mom inspired me.

What's your all time favorite dish to make?

So many… But going back to family recipes I made as a teenager…. Strata Barley pine nut casserole Berry cobbler, berries from farm Apple pie, crust made with lard from apples from farm.

What would you do with the $25,000?
