Who or what inspires you to cook?

I’m inspired by the joy of bringing people together through food, especially my family, no matter how long it takes. I love the challenge of creating unforgettable dishes and seeing the excitement on people’s faces when they take that first bite. Cooking shows and celebrity chefs fuel my passion even more, showing me that food is more than just a meal; it’s an experience, a story, and a way to leave a lasting impression on those who taste it.

What's your all time favorite dish to make?

One of my signature dishes is a perfectly seared, medium-rare salmon with a crisp exterior and buttery, tender center. It’s paired with vibrant green beans enhanced by a rich mushroom and onion medley, adding depth and umami. A velvety sweet potato purée brings balance with its natural sweetness, creating a harmonious blend of flavors and textures. This dish is a testament to precision, simplicity, and the art of elevating fresh ingredients.

What would you do with the $25,000?

If I were awarded $25,000, I would launch a food truck specializing in Tex-Mex cuisine, blending bold flavors with high-quality ingredients. My goal is to create a unique, chef-driven experience that celebrates the richness of Tex-Mex while offering innovative twists on classic dishes. This investment would bring my vision to life, allowing me to share my passion for cooking with a wider audience and build a brand that stands out in the culinary world.
