My children’s father, a talented chef, also shaped my love for food. After his passing, I stepped up for my children, keeping his memory alive through my dishes. My cuisine blends rich Mexican traditions with American influences, honoring both my roots and the people who inspire me.
What's your all time favorite dish to make?Spinach-stuffed salmon! It’s an easy, fast, and incredibly delicious dish that never fails to wow a crowd. The rich, flaky salmon pairs perfectly with the creamy, garlicky spinach filling, making it feel high-end with minimal effort. It’s my go-to for impressing guests or treating myself to something special. My breakfast burritos also wow a crowd. They are super easy to make, filling and delicious
What would you do with the $25,000?This prize money would be life-changing! After losing my children’s father, it’s been one struggle after another, but I strongly believe that winning this prize will allow me to finally settle into my passion of bringing delicious food to my community. I will be able to open and quickly expand my breakfast burrito restaurant in downtown Pasco which is what we need.
