My grands and my great grands taught me how to cook. They cooked by taste not by recipe and that is how I learned to cook. I would like to share how I cook and encourage others to try the same method.
What's your all time favorite dish to make?My late husband was born in Metairie Louisiana and taught me to make gumbo. I have worked on perfecting his recipe and was able to use some of those skills at Charleston Wine and Food Festival in the cooking class with Chef Dom Lee.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would complete my cookbook with corresponding stories of 50 years of cooking by taste and publish in honor of all those who taught me how to cook and encouraged me to complie the cookbook
