What inspires me to cook is the deep connection it creates with others. Cooking for my friends and family is an act of love, whether it's after a long day, in times of sorrow, or for a special occasion. Food brings people together, offering comfort and fostering meaningful moments. Even when cooking for myself, it’s an act of self-care. At its heart, cooking is a way to show love, connect with others, and create lasting memories.
What's your all time favorite dish to make?Gumbo! My mother is creole, and it’s one of the first dishes I remember being amazed watching her make.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use the $25,000 to invest in my love for catering and to pay for my son’s last year of college.
