Who or what inspires you to cook?

I started cooking in the kitchen with my grandmother. I come from a traditional southern family, every Sunday was dinner at grandma's house. She was an all around cook, frying,baking, canning her own goods. She inspired me to make great homemade dishes!

What's your all time favorite dish to make?

My favorite food of all time is either seafood gumbo or chili. Both are bear and dear to my heart. I spent time in Louisiana with my other grandma and got started cooking roux early on. Chili reminds me of my dad, I still use his recipe to this day. It's a hearty southetn bean style chili. Not that northern spaghetti chili.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With the $25,000 I'd put it towards a food truck. I had my own restaurant and ended up very sick in the hospital and had to shut down. A food truck would enable me to focus on my health as well as my restaurant.
