Receive Text UpdatesI’m inspired to cook by my commitment to self-care, my fiancé’s unwavering support, and the motivation to create gluten-free meals for my stepdaughter. My family's well-being encourages me to explore new recipes, making cooking an act of love. I believe good nutrition is key to overall health, especially mental health, and cooking helps me nurture total wellness for my entire family.
What's your all time favorite dish to make?My all-time favorite dish to cook is a Roasted Vegetable Grain Bowl. I love making this high-protein, high-vegetable meal because it’s easy and nutritious. I roast a mix of veggies like sweet potatoes, cauliflower, and zucchini, and pair them with a whole grain like quinoa or farro. It’s a simple, well-rounded dish that’s both filling and customizable, perfect for any occasion, and a great way to pack in healthy nutrients.
What would you do with the $25,000?With $25,000, I would invest in new dishes and cookware to replace our hand-me-downs, and take cooking lessons to enhance my skills. I’d also use part of it to create a platform that inspires others with chronic pain and/or Trauma-related symptoms, showing them how food can be a powerful tool for healing. Food truly heals, and I’d love to share this message while learning and growing in the kitchen!
