Who or what inspires you to cook?

I was inspired by my family elders and the anticipation, joy and satisfaction from the meals that they lovingly created. In my experiences I have found that a properly prepared and presented meal most definitely builds morale, comradery and creates memories. Good food is the real essence of life. A great meal can indeed be life altering. The feeling of a job well done and the affect you can immediately see through genuine satisfaction is priceless and exhilarating; to say the least.

What's your all time favorite dish to make?

My favorite dish to make is Mediterranean pasta. It consists if seared shrimp and/or chicken,Kalamata olives, prosciutto,fire roasted tomatoes,garlic and artichokes on top of cavitoppi tossed in a basil pesto and topped with feta cheese.

What would you do with the $25,000?

With $25,000 I will complete and publish my cookbook in addition to procuring what I would need to start an at home ghost kitchen or refurbished food truck in hopes to one day have a brick and mortar establishment. I'd also like to start an initiative for single fathers, the downtrodden, and the youth; to be able to show the basics of meal preparation and cooking techniques that's economical, simple and proficient. Cooking and the knowledge of how is very much so a lost art and dire necessity.
