I'm inspired by Jamaica's flavors, the community's warmth, and food memories with Bee (my mom). The nostalgia of childhood, from jerk chicken, to the comfort of a well-made soup fuel my passion. I'm also driven by the idea of making Jamaican cuisine accessible and helping others experience its magic. Ultimately, food is my love language, a bridge joining cultures.
What's your all time favorite dish to make?My Jerk Chicken is LEGENDARY. I've put a lot of passion and time into perfecting its flavors. It is my signature dish around which I've literally built events and even classes. I never toot my horn but hands down BEST IN THE CITY. My clients can attest to that.
What would you do with the $25,000?Invest it in growing Passport to Jamaica and my broader DineOutIn brand. Scaling my food business – Enhancing Jerk Drop Pop events, refining my spice blend eBook, and expanding my Jamaican meal plan offerings. Product Development – Perfecting my spice blends or meal kits, possibly moving into physical or digital products that streamline Jamaican cooking for busy people. And a bit of travel :)
