Who or what inspires you to cook?

From a young age, my mom, dad, and grandparents inspired my love for cooking. Growing up in a family of incredible cooks, my fondest memories involve picking vegetables and chasing chickens for our meals. Cooking is my love language; through it, I discovered my true purpose.

What's your all time favorite dish to make?

The traditional holiday Puerto Rican meal rice with pigeon peas, pasteles, potato salad, pork shoulder, plantain soup, for desert flan. This brings me back to to my roots to my ancestors and to the Puerto Rican flavors of the beloved island I was raised.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would start working towards my future plan of starting my food business. To heal people with food and bring that special touch that is healing with the art of cooking, Love.
