Receive Text UpdatesOur Great Mother Nature is number one! My grandmother was the most influential when it came to cooking, she started it all. At age four I remember her pulling a chair up to her kitchen counter and telling me it was time learn how to make a biscuit. And I have not stopped stepping up to the kitchen counter since. But what inspires beyond that is just seeing the joy on someone’s face when they take that first bite; just sharing a story and making a memory.
What's your all time favorite dish to make?I don’t t know if I have an all time favorite dish, they tend to change. Especially after I have traveled somewhere new. However, there is nothing better than pulling out that (im)Perfect loaf of bread from the oven; whether it is focaccia, boule, or a crusty baguette and dipping a slice into some fantastic olive oil, or slathering on some beautiful French butter. I always say the best chefs are define by their most simple dish. Make it beautiful.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would put it into growing my business. Both the private chef/catering side and the consulting side of what I do. Like I’ve said, I absolutely love what I do, and cannot fathom doing anything else. Good and bad, slow and chaotic, I carry an inherent passion for this business and I just want to be able to keep expanding my knowledge and continue to explore new avenues within the culinary world.
