Who or what inspires you to cook?

It's in my soul! I love to gather friends and family to eat. My mother died when I was 16 months old so my daddy raised me. He was a great cook! I grew up going to the bayous of Louisiana watching the pots of gumbo being prepared. It was all inspiring. Everyone loves my food!

What's your all time favorite dish to make?

Crawfish pie, gourmet style. White wine, heavey cream, and the pie crust is amazing. I always heard Chef Paul Prudhomme say to add flavors in layers I so that's how I cook.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would first buy a headstone for my son who was killed May 30, 2024. Then remodel my kitchen. I would love a gas range and a huge island. I cook everyday and everyone says I deserve more space.
