Who or what inspires you to cook?

First, I am Jewish, and I was raised eating traditional Jewish food, for which I have an acquired taste. I was also lucky when it came to eating this wonderful food because my mother was a great cook. I grew up eating her matzo ball soup, chopped liver, blintzes, stuffed cabbage, latkas, kugels and many more delicious dishes that are essential to the Jewish food culture. She taught me how to cook and I would be her helper when she was getting down in the kitchen.

What's your all time favorite dish to make?

Chicken vegetable soup with mushrooms, leeks, carrots, celery, matzo balls, rice and noodles https://jgkravitz.wordpress.com/how-i-make-my-matzo-ball-soup/

What would you do with the $25,000?

After giving this much thought, I have decided that if I win, I will give the entire $25,000.00 to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. I would turn my winning into a mitzvah. A mitzvah is an act of kindness for those less fortunate and there is nothing more unfortunate than having a child with cancer. This will be my Memphis Matzo Ball Mitzvah.
