Receive Text UpdatesMy late mother and Gordon Ramsey was my biggest inspiration. She was an Italian immigrant to Canada, who always worked hard to care for her family. The one thing that always brought my whole family around our kitchen table was my mom's cooking. I am my mother's legacy. Chef Gordon Ramsey inspired the disciplined side of being a chef in me. When I was working as an apprentice chef, I always used to watch "Hell's Kitchen" to take notes about being on the kitchen line, food prep ect.
What's your all time favorite dish to make?My favorite dish to make is Oxtail with Rice & peas. When I was little, my parents owned a fish market in Toronto, and next door was a Jamaican restaurant. The restaurant owners used to come in and barter my parents Jamaican oxtail rice & peas for Red snapper. I'm a connaseur of Jamaican oxtail.
What would you do with the $25,000?If I win the $25,000, It will go towards my dream of opening up a food shack or truck where we live, and we'd be serving up Italian-Fusion. From freshest authentic pastas, to the spiciest most intricate curry, and if we can fuse them, that's where my talents will be recognized.
