Who or what inspires you to cook?

I grew up eating my mom's cooking and watching Food Network. That combination shaped my love for cooking -- blending comfort and creativity, tradition and technique. My mom's meals taught me that food is about warmth and connection, while Food Network showed me that even a simple dish can feel like a masterpiece with the right touch. Now every time I cook, it feels like a little tribute to both. Plus, I enjoy the sheer thrill of pretending I'm on a cooking show even when no one's watching.

What's your all time favorite dish to make?

I love to cook just about everything, but if I had to pick one dish, it would be from my filipino roots -- Kaldereta. It makes me forget about the dishes I'll have to wash later.

What would you do with the $25,000?

First, I'd give back by donating 5% to charity, then I’d invest in something smart to help grow my wealth and set myself up for the future, and the rest? I’d use it for a foodie adventure, exploring new flavors, savoring authentic dishes, and indulging in the ultimate culinary experience to feed both my belly and my soul.
