Who or what inspires you to cook?

My passion for cooking was deeply inspired by my mother. As a child, I cherished time spent in the kitchen with her. High school food and nutrition classes further fueled my enthusiasm for creating new dishes. In college, I pursued culinary studies, gaining invaluable experience in organizing banquets and participating in live cooking demonstrations, which brought me immense joy, and seeing people's smiles as they enjoy a meal warms my heart.

What's your all time favorite dish to make?

As a proud Jamaican, jerk chicken is my top dish. However, I'm also a pasta lover. In college, I earned the title Pasta Queen for my legendary pasta creations. So, I combined my Jamaican flair with Italian cuisine to create my ultimate favorite: Jerk Chicken Alfredo Pasta.

What would you do with the $25,000?

It has long been a dream of mine to establish a private dining space where guests can engage directly with the chef during the preparation of their meals. I would utilize this prize to further that ambition and further expand my private catering business.
