Who or what inspires you to cook?

My grandmother. She was the best cook, and always tried to teach me when I was little. Now that she has Alzheimer’s, I like that I can carry on the family tradition. My mom is also an inspiration. She passed away 11 years ago this April, and never was much of a cook herself. I hope I’m making both of them proud with what I’ve learned.

What's your all time favorite dish to make?

There’s so many! I do enjoy making Chicken Tikka Masala, one of my favorites to do. Any kind of Asian inspired dish as well, and my best dish is definitely pasta/italian of any kind.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would redo my kitchen to make it more functional for sure, and I would consider using part of it for culinary school so that I can continue to learn and grow within the cooking world!
