Receive Text UpdatesMy life inspires me to cook. The deep bonds I have with my family are of the best memories centered around the food at our tables. The traditions I work hard to keep alive are all of dishes of family members, especially my mother, that inspire me.
What's your all time favorite dish to make?This is the most difficult question to answer, I don’t make dishes I wouldn’t eat! I do say whatever I make is “the best thing I ever made!” Not out of cockiness, but out of how much time and effort it took to make, how it looked, or tasted, how easy it was or how few ingredients it was, how cheap it was how fast it took! My FAVORITE is my Pasta fagioli, I’ve made it every Friday since I’m 9, my signature dish, to know me is to taste my pasta fagioli!
What would you do with the $25,000?I have been a New York City Public School teacher for over 22 years. I work after school jobs and tutor 7 students a week. I should probably be responsible pay some student loans back or bills with the $25,000 but I would most likely update my kitchen gadgets and take my family on a well deserved, memorable vacation instead!
