Receive Text UpdatesMy mom taught me at a very young age to cook and the joy that we would make pushed me to want to create that same feeling in every dish I give to others. My wife also has health issues and a very restrictive diet that I’ve had to get creative with! My son is now the same age that I was when I started cooking and now he’s is following in my footsteps with his young passion for being next to me in the kitchen.
What's your all time favorite dish to make?Beef birria quesadillas with consume and fresh salsas, red and green refried beans, and Mexican rice. It’s what I made for my friends and family to celebrate anything big! My wedding reception, my son’s birthday, when my wife was grieving the loss of her grandmother. This meal is my love language.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use this money to fund my food truck in the Denver Metro Area focusing on flavors from my hometown of Houston and from my own family originally from Mexico. I would also use some of the money to help my family plant roots with a home. I am a US Veteran and I’ve permanently damaged my shoulder in the effort to serve my country and I’ve had a hard time maintaining kitchen work due to the injury. I’d love to be able to provide for myself and my family with my own business.
