My mother has always been an amazing cook. I believe my passion for baking stems from her and my need to create. I love to see people enjoy my work. When done right, baking allows some to reminiscence on childhood memories of simpler happier days. After losing so much from Hurricane Sandy, baking was extremely therapeutic for me and provided a way for me to make extra income to support my family.We are all blessed with gifts/talents for a reason.Its our duty to figure it and walk in our purpose.
What's your all time favorite dish to make?Lately I've been obsessed with developing cookie recipes. I would say my cakes are also. pretty darn delicious. Lol. My baking style appeals to someone that prefers less sugar and more flavor.
What would you do with the $25,000?I'm in the process of launching a cookie business called "Sweet Hugs". I would use the winnings to invest in branding my business. I want to market my products to a niche that prefers baked goods with less sugar and unique flavor pairings. I also plan on giving back to the community by way of offering baking therapy sessions to adult daycares, senior centers etc.,
