Receive Text UpdatesI have to give all credit to my auntie. She’s the glue to the family when it comes to cooking. I love the holidays because I always knew my auntie will be in the kitchen and the meal was going to be superb. Then, after I purchased my home, I began my journey into cooking for myself.
What's your all time favorite dish to make?It will have to be my Friendsgiving meal. From the Haitian style Mac & Cheese, Haitian style rice & peas. My garlic mashed potatoes. With lamb chops, Haitian smothered chicken, salmon bites, Cajun shrimp, Cajun lobster tail. With asparagus and stove top candy yams. I feel one with myself as I’m cooking that meal because it highlights my journey from not knowing how to even season food to provide an entire full course mealy way.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would use some of the money for my expense for the food/sports talk show I’m starting with my friend. As well as get equipment to showcase a better experience when watching my “how to” video for my meals. Lastly, this is big for me and i hold this one close to my heart. I know it’s not much but to find a way to cook for the homeless or lack resources to enjoy a home cook meal.
