Receive Text UpdatesCooking for my family and they're appreciation inspires me and I also serial watch Beat Bobby Flay, Triple Threat, Chopped, Guys multitude of shows, Jamie Oliver, Jaques Pepin and lately, Olivia Tiedemann, Michael Symon, Brooke Williamson...I am obsessed with cooking and look forward to getting home and getting in the kitchen. It's where I feel most in control. My family also cooks with my Mom being the biggest inspiration. She is 86 and still experiments with new recepies and techniques.
What's your all time favorite dish to make?Eggs Benedict. This dish is all about the timming. You have to do everything in the correct order or it can be a disaster. Second would be Cornish Game Hens, with Black Pearl rice, dried cherries, Rosemary and chestnuts.
What would you do with the $25,000?Put it towards a house with a "Real" Kitchen. We lost our house 9 years ago and are in a one bedroom apartment. The kitchen is adequite but I miss my gas range and proper exhaust fan and counter space. It's like living in a submarine and getting this pan or pot has you juggling everything like a Rubik's Cube! With that I would like to start a catering business.....
