My maternal grandmother is my inspiration to cook delicious food! She was an excellent cook who loved to make meals and bake for the working community in my native country of Belize, Central America. Before, bed and breakfast was a 'thing' she use to run one for vistors who wanted to immerse themselves in the local culture and enjoy the diverse cuisine. I have the same passion to cook and share our traditional dishes with people.
What's your all time favorite dish to make?Stew oxtail with blackeye rice & beans, with potato salad.
What would you do with the $25,000?I would open my restaurant in New Jersey or New York. I would offer gourmet food grounded in my Belizean culture along with some staple American delights like burgers & fries, fried chicken, mac & cheese, etc. Thanks so much.
