Who or what inspires you to cook?

I like making people happy with food.. the colors, textures, tastes and smells, i garden and love creating from my garden delights!! I forget time and space while in the kitchen… i guess the ingredients inspire me.

What's your all time favorite dish to make?

I love creating soups! Specifically Chili. Soups paired with yeasty, tender artisan breads. As my cook book states… i pair unlikely ingredients to make soups that you’ve never seen, like cauliflower, mushrooms and quinoa in my winning chili! Paired with a cheddar salsa bread!

What would you do with the $25,000?

i would have a commercial kitchen built on my 7 acre farmette, to have my dream of garden dinners. My dreams every night, are this!!! First dinner: Deep fried asparagus spears with a lemon dill aioli Whipped rhubarb and goat cheese, rye bread crackers pickled grapes. Cream of fiddle head and scape soup. With a sorrel pesto swirl Swiss and chive artisan sourdough bread, Ribeye with a ramp butter and morels. Microgreen salad mustard vinaigrette, tangerine sorbet with a dark chocolate shell
