Eric Vonditsianou

I should be the favorite chef because I'm energetic and very creative. I learned to filet a fish and butcher a deer from 10 years old.

Who or what inspires you to cook?

I started learning to cook from my mother at a young age, she has always been a big inspiration to my cooking. Although one of my favorite chefs is Gordon Ramsay, I really enjoyed his show the f word where he gathers fresh ingredients for his restaurant. Another inspiration would be Steven Rinnella from meateater. I love watching him hunt for fresh meat, the way he explains it and honors the animals.

What's your all time favorite dish to make?

There are so many.. I enjoy going back to my routes my mother is guyanese and my father is Greek Cypriot. So I enjoy making different curries and roti I got from my guyanese side and things like suvlaki and prestigio from my Cypriot side.

What would you do with the $25,000?

I would put it in a savings account and use it to pay my bills.
